Biagro in Serbia
The 81st edition of the Novi Sad International Agricultural Fair turned to be a very complete fair from the Balkans, as Export Manager David Medina has told us upon his return from his commercial mission to this fair.
A small public turnout was noticeable, due to communication problems with Novi Sad caused by the big flood – causing several damages and even dead victims – occurred the week before to the fair.
But this did not affect the attendance of exhibitors and the main actors of the market were present: big manufacturers and distributors of NPKs and agrochemicals, as well as medium and small sized distributors.
This year, the point to be highlighted is the great success of the microbiological products, which are gathering strength in the Serbian farming sector. They are used, for example, as Nitrogen fixative bacteria and soil restorative – for detoxifying the soil after the use of agrochemicals.
The other focuses of the Agrarian Balkans show were the tractors and the agricultural equipment.
